Therapist Overview

I work with individuals and couples on developing healthy coping strategies to deal with today’s stressors, including relationship problems, parenting, work-related issues, retirement, and struggles occurring due to COVID-19. I also specialize in working with Veterans with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. These issues not only impact Veterans but their loved ones. My work includes strengthening relationships between Veterans and their families and educating family members about military-related stressors. I also specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ population, and with family members whose personal belief systems may conflict with their LGBTQ+ loved ones. I previously served as an LGBTQ Coordinator for the Veteran’s Administration. I utilize several treatment modalities but also cherish the uniqueness of individuals and why they choose to seek treatment at this time. Together, we will work as a team to best meet these needs. In recognizing that the cost of therapy can feel like an additional financial stressor, I provide affordable sliding-scale fees.
