Therapist Overview

I hope to create a space for you to feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings about past experiences, present worries, or behaviors that are no longer working for you. We will discuss patterns keeping you stuck and cultivate an understanding of what led to those patterns. Working together we will create a plan to address changes you would like to make and move at a pace that feels right for you. I encourage you to challenge yourself to grow and improve your well-being. In our work together, we will explore the past, how it impacts the present, and discuss skills and ideas to help you reach your goals. I am EMDR-trained and use this training to help reduce emotional suffering connected to past traumatic and distressing experiences that can occur at any point throughout life. I encourage self-compassion throughout the therapeutic process and feel this is so important during what can be a difficult and vulnerable experience. Feel free to reach out to discuss more about what you would like to work towards and if we would be a good fit for each other!
