Therapist Overview
Psychotherapy provides a space to achieve personal growth and navigate challenges within a trusting, supportive relationship with a trained expert. As a clinical psychologist, I specialize in helping adolescents and adults with a variety of problems, including those struggling with mood, emotion regulation, trauma, identity, relationships, academic/professional issues, body image, and eating disorders. Together, we identify and work toward goals while seeking deeper understanding into their behaviors and problems. I am trained in multiple treatment modalities, including psychodynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, and systemic family therapies. My work is highly influenced by a multicultural approach, and I work with each individual to develop a tailor-made, integrative treatment to address his or her needs. Personal growth is a lifelong process and for many, psychotherapy can be an incredibly fulfilling step in the journey. My goal is to provide a warm and safe environment that is fruitful to deep and long-lasting change. See my website for more information on my practice and areas of specialization, and call or email me to set up an initial consultation.
