Therapist Overview

Managing stress, anxiety, and depression can be hard. That’s ok! Do you want to learn more about yourself, how to cope in a healthy way, and have better communication? I understand and I can help. In my practice, I respect the unique experience of each individual, couple, or family. I see the particular difficulties that each faces. I listen and interact with empathy and provide insight and support. No two treatments are the same; it’s your life and you deserve to choose your goals. I have counseled individuals for over 12 years in multiple treatment settings and I have a full-time private practice. I am a licensed mental health counselor, a credentialed substance abuse counselor, and am trained in mood and anxiety disorders. My practice also includes working with eating disorders, sexual addictions, and people in recovery.   I believe it is important to feel heard, seen, validated, and understood. We need to feel purposeful and that we matter. We can’t change difficult situations of the past, but we can work together to better understand them and to resolve current challenges in your life. I offer a safe place for you to discuss your feelings and emotions without judgement.
