Therapist Overview
Welcome! I am Shoshanah Yehudah, a licensed counselor, and owner of Connected Living Counseling & Therapeutic Services, LLC (CLCTS). I am a general clinical mental health practitioner with special interests in treating maternal mental illness, childhood trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and socio-cultural issues. I am trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT. At CLCTS, I help clients become aware of and remove barriers to fulfilling their potentials or reaching their Thrive Life. The Thrive Life is a state of optimal wellness and is achieved through healthy connections within oneself (body, mind, and spirit) and with others. Self-awareness is the foundation for healing and growth. My counseling orientation draws heavily from existential philosophy, cognitive-behavioral theory, and relational-cultural theory. I help clients understand the meaning of their experiences and relationships and how they influence thinking and emotional well-being. “Like the beautiful lotus, we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world”. I am here to support you on your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and living your best life.
