I am an LMFT dedicated to helping my clients reach their goals with a varied clinical background in working with clients of various ages, ethnicities, SES, and presenting issues. My primary experience has been with children and teens who are struggling with the effects of trauma and behavioral difficulties that impact school, home, and social functioning. I also have a passion to help adults with trauma and grief and loss issues. Depression, anxiety, and eating disorders have also been a focus of my training and experience along with 5 years of experience bringing Christian-based approaches to clients and couples who request this. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and love using this modality to help children, teens, and young adults with trauma/abuse backgrounds heal from PTSD. I also regularly use cognitive behavioral therapy and integrative approaches to help clients struggling with depression, anxiety, family issues, and eating disorders. I understand that taking the first step to make a therapeutic appointment can be very scary. I also hope it will be an empowering experience for you.
