Therapist Overview
I am currently offering only affordable virtual telehealth services. The choices we make in life are based upon our actions. I believe challenging those behaviors and replacing the negative behaviors with positive/healthy ones is reachable, and we will do that in our sessions. I worked in a hospital setting for over 5 years and a private practice for over 2 years. I spent a big part of my career providing counseling to individuals and families suffering from anxiety, self-esteem issues, marital discord, depression, postpartum depression, and unresolved grief. I also run groups for anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I utilize an integrative approach at the Mindful Path, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Psychotherapy. My treatment is tailored to the unique needs and strengths of each client. I believe in the importance of collaboration with clients and families as well as medical practitioners, schools, and agencies. Every person has the ability and the opportunity to heal and live a fulfilled life. I work with clients to empower them to be their best self and make the changes they need to in order to do that. I believe with much self reflection and hard work a person is able to attain the goals they set for themselves.
