Hey there! My name is Sarah Thompson. I have 19 + years of experience in the mental health field, working in many different roles. My education includes a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice/ Minoring in Sociology. I hold a Master’s of Applied Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also hold both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.) certification and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA.) license in the state of Ohio. I have experience treating such things as: anxiety, depression, Bi-Polar, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD/ADD, grief, addiction, marital issues, trauma, etc. I offer a much different approach to therapy, it is straightforward and real. I do not accept insurance at this time, all my clients are self-pay. This allows my practice to solely focus on my clients’ needs, not the insurance companies’. No diagnosing, no lengthy assessments and no typing notes in session! A much more effective and productive treatment.
