Therapist Overview

If you are going through stress-related conditions where you feel overwhelmed and have a hard time adjusting to a stressful event of a change, we can work together through a modality of art therapy, psychodynamic theory, psychoeducation and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I am fluent in English, Croatian, Serbian and intermediate German and am a professional sculptor and illustrator. I have extensive experience working with American and Croatian war veterans across two continents. One patient described me as being like Velcro: I stick to people once they get to know me. My specialties are war-related PTSD, trauma, personality disorders and anxiety disorders and low self-esteem concerns. If you have adjustment disorders related to situational depression, adapting to a different culture or simply feel uninspired, I will work with you through a collaborative treatment plan to navigate through them to reach your true potential. Getting better isn’t just working on the things you love. It means doing the things you’ve avoided so you can do the things you love. In my therapy practice, I have never met a strong person with an easy past. Therefore, it is never too late to be what you might have been. Don’t give up.
