I am a marriage and family therapist who’s been working with individuals, couples, and families on a broad range of challenges. I find that many times, my clients thought process and actions are what’s keeping them stuck and unhappy. Their attempted solutions are actually making the problem worse, bringing forth feelings of frustration and hopelessness. Exploring how much of what they do is actually part of the problem is a big step towards the right direction, and also clears the way for a new set of possibilities. I have a particular interest in helping clients with relationship issues. I believe positive relationships are the foundation for happiness and health. Often clients who are being challenged by their relationships start to feel emotionally disconnected and lonely. Helping my clients change, heal or build on those bonds is essential to our work.
