Therapist Overview
Sometimes we need a little help to get by and to keep moving toward growth and healing. I am a gentle and challenging therapist who is passionate about my work. I value honesty, humor, and connection with clients and strive to create a place of safety and nonjudgment. I have clinical experience with complaints including but not limited to: PTSD, complex trauma, grief & loss, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and relational distress. I emphasize emotions and needs while working from a trauma-sensitive, body-centered, humanistic approach. I believe life events up to now have shaped who we are. The residue of previous wounding can hang around longer than we would like it to. I invite clients to explore what parts of themselves they admire and what parts may have areas for growth. Feeling stuck or not feeling like your true self? The relationship between client and therapist is a vital part of the therapeutic process. I invite you to reach out to see how you think we fit.
