Therapist Overview

My approach is interpersonal, both psychodynamically and existentially informed. I have been in practice for over 20 years. In my early years, I was supervised by Dr. Irvin Yalom, and he has been highly influential in my work. I believe my strengths include an ability to genuinely connect with patients in an empathic and non-judgmental manner. I help my patients explore deeper issues and patterns underlying persistent unhappiness, as well as navigate life’s hurdles that may feel overwhelming. I work with a wide variety of adult patients, including those who are experiencing ongoing anxiety and depression, and others who are dealing with major decisions, life transitions, loss, and relationship issues.
