Therapist Overview
To preserve everyone’s safety during COVID-19, all sessions are currently conducted via Zoom/telehealth. I offer comprehensive testing and assessment services via telehealth for learning, attention, executive functioning, mood, and anxiety concerns for children, adolescents, college students, and adults. I also offer weekly telehealth therapy sessions. My approach to teletherapy is an empathetic mix of solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral intervention. I specialize in comprehensive testing for students who struggle with some aspect of learning or relating to others. The comprehensive assessment process generally includes detailed interviews, testing of cognitive and academic functioning, assessment of attention and executive functioning, and assessment of social and emotional functioning. The goal of my work is enhancing clients’ educational and personal success through first identifying learning needs, strengths, and challenges, then developing customized recommendations and plans. Many parents use my detailed reports to assist with educational planning, such as acceleration and advocating for IEP/504 plans.
