Therapist Overview

Hi there! Welcome to my practice. Clients describe me as authentic, wholehearted, creative, fun and compassionate. I believe healing is a journey built upon trust and safety in vulnerability. My approach is client focused, strengths-based, creative and individualized. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, identity and life transitions. I also specialize in treating complex trauma: abuse, neglect, violence, developmental trauma, attachment trauma and grief/loss. The healing journey is collaborative. We will navigate and learn together. I am trained in EMDR (Level I and II) and PolyVagal Theory. I offer IFS,CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative therapy and motivational interviewing. I weave creativity and mindfulness throughout my practice. In addition, I practice psychodrama and drama therapy, as highlighted in my 2014 TedxDirigo Talk: “Drama Therapy Changed My Impressions of Homelessness.” This journey begins with one step. I understand the first step is often the most difficult. I suggest we meet for 2-3 sessions to determine goodness of fit. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone. I will do my best to respond within 1-2 business days. Thank you for your time. Be well.
