Therapist Overview

Do you often feel like people don’t hear you? Sometimes we feel isolated and unable to discuss our feelings or concerns with those around us because we feel rejected, dismissed, and not taken seriously. If it happens enough, you’ve probably learned to keep to yourself or seek help in places that continue to hurt you. Emotional repression can be extremely damaging to an individual, couple and family. When working with me, you can expect to have a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. In my eyes, your voice is important and I want you to feel heard. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, couples and families who present a variety of mental health issues and concerns. I specialize in treating adolescents and teens adjusting to various life phases and difficulties, in addition to working with the family system as a whole. I am currently on maternity leave and will begin opening up my practice via teletherapy in July 2020.
