Therapist Overview
I find it deeply meaningful to hold sacred, safe spaces where people can be truly seen and known–and, from here, can step into the power of their unique, authentic selves. I am passionate about, and find it the greatest privilege, to meet people in this courageous place. I have been told that I bring thoughtfulness, intention, heart, and presence to my time with people. I am not afraid of the complex, somewhat messy, parts of people’s lives, and can stand with you in these places with compassion, curiosity and clarity. I will see you through a multifaceted lens. I come to this work from a life-long passion for personal stories. For 15 years, I have been studying and practicing Narrative Therapy and am deeply informed by its respectful, life-affirming values. Mindfulness, restorative, energy, and trauma-informed practices, as well as social and racial justice, also inform my work. I work with teens and adults. I love and find it a great privilege to meet people in the real places of their lives, and to discover together what matters to you. I have been appreciated for my “heart and body led approach” and “realness”, and will bring all of myself to our time together. I view therapy as a creative space where you can bring all of yourself, a place of possibility.
