Therapist Overview

My goal is for every student to be his or her personal best. I want my clients to realize their abilities and attain what they want to achieve. I empower your student, by helping him or her realize strengths and provide skills to overcome or compensate for challenges. We ALL have some attention deficit, anxiety, depression, learning, and autism spectrum disorder characteristics that interfere at times. Private psychological testing helps us know when these behaviors or feelings are beyond what is age expected and how it may hinder success. Individual therapy helps us learn to minimize the negatives, feel confident and be happy. As a certified and licensed school psychologist, I bring over ten years of school-based experience to my private practice. From preschool to high school, I know the educational, behavioral and social expectations and demands our children must cope with daily. Kids are stressed! I teach strategies they need to cope, problem solve and succeed at their age. It is so hard to see a child struggle. Does he or she study but forget during the test or choke at sports? Do repetitive behaviors interfere? Is your student unable to sit still to finish homework or classwork? Is your student sad or withdrawing from friends and family? Does your student struggle with reading or math? I can help. Contact me for a consult.
