I offer individual counseling and psychotherapy services. I use several therapeutic approaches: Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Narrative Therapy changes the way clients describe themselves and their life experiences, which helps them move in more positive directions. In ACT work, I help clients accept their thoughts and feelings, commit to actions based on their values, and build the emotional skills needed to be able to move through value conflicts, internal or with others. Motivational Interviewing is a powerful tool to help clients resolve inner conflicts that prevent them from living a full, rich life. I have experience working with a range of emotional and psychological issues, from adolescent and parent dilemmas to relationship difficulties.
