Therapist Overview
I became a therapist later than most and I bring a wealth of life experience to my work. A lesson I have learned is that life throws us curve balls. We often find ourselves in unexpected places, which can be confusing, humbling, heart breaking and sometimes shaming. Life has shaped me as a therapist and has also directed my areas of interest. These include; – trauma, couples, family work, infertility, IVF, divorcing families, grief and loss, social justice and personal empowerment. I have experience working with clients from infancy to old age and from vastly different economic and cultural backgrounds. Since moving to Boston in 2014, my clinical focus has made a natural transition to working mainly with young adults and couples. I believe that a sense of connection and belonging is fundamental to human wellbeing.
