Life is a journey, not a destination. You deserve to live a life you want and I am here to help you through your journey. Our troubles are often linked to problems in relationships with ourselves and others. Sometimes there are stressors or life events out of our control. My approach is client-centered, holistic, with the goal of overcoming challenges and empowering you to find your unique path. My experiences include treating mental health (depression, anxiety, mood disorders) with trauma-sensitive care, co-occurring substance abuse, family conflicts, enhancing relationship skills, and behavioral issues for school-age kids and adolescents. I also have developed a passion for adoption counseling from my personal experience in my family. I believe everyone can grow and heal. With oriental and zen influences, my main focus is on mindfulness, meditation, and living a fulfilled life. I use integrated modality of CBT, DBT, Choice Theory, and Reality Therapy.
