Therapist Overview
Is your child experiencing difficulty at school, preschool, or in day to day life? I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor who can assist you and your child create a sense of homeostasis. While I primarily work with children, I feel that it is equally important to work with children in their family unit at times to understand the dynamics that could use some growth and healing. My main emphasis is working with children 3-10 years old utilizing a child-centered approach to allow the child to use their primary language, play, to address the child’s concerns. I also use interventions from other therapeutic models when appropriate. My approach creates an inviting environment for children and their families. I have been serving and providing therapeutic support to children and families in San Diego County since 2010. This is my passion and I love sharing my passion with children and families in need of support.
