Hello. My name is Sarah Henderson. I am an Associate Therapist with Center for Compassion. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one or are a survivor of abuse/assault, it can feel as if the ground beneath you has shattered, along with many other aspects of your life. Allow me to help you feel grounded and safe again, while connecting to yourself and the world once more. I will provide a safe and sacred space for you to process your grief and/or trauma. I truly feel that everyone has the capacity to heal themselves within. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the channel for healing, and I view my role as walking this journey alongside you, rather than leading the way. I see my role as a therapist as an absolute honor, to be able to bear witness to the strength of the human spirit and share in the sacredness of my client’s stories.
