We all fall on this spectrum somewhere between where we want to be and the worst that we have been. Many times in life we are just not happy with where we are at on the spectrum, even though we may not be at our worst we still know that things could be better. Together we can figure out where you would like to be and one step at a time how to get there. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment to help create comfort when discussing uncomfortable topics. I encourage my clients to allow time for the therapeutic process and find a healthy balance. I incorporate a variety of tools to assist in the best therapeutic process: mindfulness, guided imagery, art therapy are a few techniques that clients have found quite helpful. Although I feel it’s my job to sometimes challenge clients, I also understand that even making the decision to seek help is a challenge within itself.
