In her therapy work, Dr. Smith takes an integrative approach and typically draws from humanistic, interpersonal, ACT, and positive psychology approaches in her therapy work with adults and adolescents. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship concerns, and difficulties related to the transition to college. Further areas of clinical specialty include Deafness and disability. Dr. Smith is qualified to provide all services in English or American Sign Language to best fit patient needs. Dr. Smith also provides assessment services that include psychological, psychoeducational, ADHD (child and adult), and Autism diagnostic testing. After extensive individual evaluation, she works with patients and their families to discuss findings, address concerns, and provide appropriate recommendations based on testing results.
