Therapist Overview

The clients I feel most successful with are those who have damage to self perception whether it is within depression, anxiety, or trauma. I am honest while kind and am open to however people want to communicate (if you like to cuss or have dark humor, I won’t be offended). I work well with clients that are willing to try different things, but will be honest about how useful the tools are. I am very accepting of people regardless of past or current situations. I enjoy using EMDR which uses eye movement in order to process what we experience. I have seen people make amazing connections. I am knowledgeable to military culture. I am LGBTQ+, kink, and poly/ENM affirming and sex-positive. I often talk about my “therapist soul”. I don’t like that people are in pain, but to help someone navigate it, feeds that soul. I like building a rapport so a client can be who they really are. I love moments when a client talks about something that would have triggered them before, but no more. It is privilege to help people.
