Therapist Overview
I offer a mindfulness-based, trauma informed approach to individual and couple therapy. I provide a gentle, safe & nonjudgmental space to explore emotions, painful memories, relationships, losses, and patterns of behavior which feel limiting or self defeating. Trauma work can help integrate lost parts of self to relieve anxiety, depression, anger, health concerns & PTSD. I work with survivors of sexual trauma & with women’s issues, including pregnancy, postpartum & parenting. With couples I work to improve communication, understanding & secure functioning to support connection within conflict and finding a pathway to repair. I use somatic and transpersonal modalities to promote self exploration, awareness, & resourcing. I pay special attention to “old wounds” which interrupt the safety of relational functioning & which create cycles of dissatisfaction in body, heart, mind & spirit. I am trained in EMDR, PACT Couples Therapy & Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Life & relationships are
