Therapist Overview
It is hard to make an appointment with a therapist – to realize that there are aspects of your life that just “aren’t working”. My goal is to offer a safe supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I work with people who are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, and anger: people who are dealing with difficult relationships; people who want to learn better communication skills; people who are struggling to cope with trauma and stressful life events; and people who don’t really know what they feel or need but just want to feel better. I want my clients to feel that our work together was meaningful and helpful, and that they gain knowledge and skills that they continue to use long after our work is done. I have an eclectic approach that focuses on a combination of healing destructive life patterns and learning here-and-now techniques to change thoughts and behaviors. I am new to the Bolton area and currently have openings for new clients. I am a licensed psychologist with over 25 years experience.
