Therapist Overview

I believe everyone can benefit from talking to someone. We intuitively seek support when faced with a stressful time or transition. Sometimes we feel stuck or think we should handle things on our own. You do not have to face a difficult time alone. I can assist you in transforming this time into an opportunity to learn something new about yourself, reveal your strengths and consider alternative perspectives. My job is to help you put your thoughts and feelings into words. I welcome the chance to partner with you on your journey, I have been a licensed clinical social worker for 29 years. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults dealing with a broad range of issues. My hope is to create a sense of security that enables you to deal with some painful experiences or memories and transform them into a sense of well being. I will assist you in clarifying the current problem and identifying a goal. We can determine together what approach to use and the pace of our work. First, I will listen. Then I can offer support and tools for self care, self advocacy, healing and growth.
