I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor II and a Master Addiction Counselor in the state of Georgia. I work with adults (18+), and have extensive experience treating a variety of issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, family problems, extensive trauma histories, suicidal thoughts, self-harm behaviors, alcohol or drug addiction and other difficult issues. Through my personal experience and the experience of people I have worked with, I believe that we all have an “inner healer”. Often we have lost touch with that resource and need guidance in reconnecting to our deepest resources. My counseling style is warm and engaging. My approach is culturally sensitive and collaborative with clients. I combine Person Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focus and Mindfulness therapy.
