I pride myself on encouraging my clients to see and be the strength that is already within them. I use an integrative approach in that each individual is unique and processes thoughts differently. Mindfulness based CBT allows clients to find peace within themselves through grounding. This heightened awareness of self enables us to live in accordance with our values even in the face of opposition. In addition, motivation interviewing is used to ensure the counselor client relationship is based on the elements the client would like to address.
