Do you find change harder to manage than you expected, or struggle with intense and unpredictable emotions? My experience includes successful treatment of anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I bring a wide array of skills and strategies to counseling sessions that can help you understand and manage difficult emotions, balance complex relationships, survive emotional crises, and increase purposeful presence in the moment. I have more than 10 years of experience in mental health counseling, and over 20 years in human services. I specialize in working with adults ages 18 and up, through both individual therapy and skills-based groups. I practice from a number of treatment approaches in addition to having completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Finding a therapist you connect with can be a challenge. I want to take the time to get to know you, and to understand your strengths and struggles. I am available for sessions Monday through Friday 9:15am through 4:30pm.
