Therapist Overview

I work with individuals, couples, and families who experience a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment-related concerns. I have experience working with ages 12 and up. Most of my experience in private practice is working with young adults going through periods of transition: teens into adulthood, and young adults into their career, marriage, or having children of their own. I received my Master’s Degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, family-systems theory, solution focused methods, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques to help my clients. Often during life transitions, people have difficulty adjusting to their new circumstances. Whether it be an adolescent transitioning into adulthood, or a young couple preparing for marriage, planning for children, or making significant
