Therapist Overview
***Currently accepting new clients for group therapy only*** If you are struggling with anxiety, post-traumatic stress, or feeling disempowered, I might be the therapist for you. My clients are survivors of sexual assault, people who experience anxiety and panic attacks, and people struggling with self-esteem and motivation. People also often see me to get some support in dealing with women’s issues, dating concerns, and LGBTQ issues. I use mindfulness principles, the mind-body connection, and feminist theory to inform my practice, and am trained in both EMDR and IFS. In counseling with me, you can choose to explore the ways in which your body holds on to stress, how meditation might be helpful to you in calming your anxiety, or how society’s messages might be influencing the way you feel about yourself. If it is important to you to find a therapist who will respect your cultural identity, put you in the driver’s seat, and believe in you every step of the way, please give me a call. I
