I specialize in working with children and adolescents dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, anger and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Within a therapeutic setting, I put much emphasis on healthy relationships and I believe the key to that is incorporating parents and/or caregivers into treatment. In addition to outpatient counseling, I work as a school therapist in a local public middle school. I am very much aware of the stress that exists in the school environment (both social and academic). I enjoy helping adolescents discover their true potential and overcome obstacles that they are faced with. I am warm, humorous and original in my approach. I am able to highlight positive qualities within individuals and provide tools and creative ways to incorporate these qualities into everyday life.
