Therapist Overview

My mission is to serve individuals by providing personalized mental health care in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I strive to plant seeds of hope and empower clients to experience mental, physical, and spiritual freedom. Communicating the depth of our personal emotion is difficult, yet necessary. Therefore, my first goal in counseling is establishing an authentic connection with clients, while offering an empathetic ear without judgment. I seek to address each story in a way that meets the client where they stand. I invite all clients to be true-spirited throughout the session. For many, the lack of hope and inability to find freedom lies in self-defeating thinking patterns. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address thinking patterns and interpretations of specific life events. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients overcome challenges due to past trauma.
