Therapist Overview
**NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** Therapy with me will provide a safe, warm, nonjudgmental space where you will feel fully heard and understood. I provide a compassionate, identity-affirming, trauma-centered space where we will work through your story. Within a feminist, anti-oppressive framework, we will explore patterns in your thoughts about self and others, your relationships, and your coping strategies. We will work to understand how your history and current situation shape who you are today. Together we will vision where you want to be and I will facilitate your growth and healing to support you to reach this. My background in psychology, neuroscience, and social work provides a rich perspective on the effects of trauma and stress on our brains, minds, and bodies. With this knowledge, I have worked extensively with youth and adult survivors of significant trauma, and those suffering through anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, and psychosis. As a therapist I will support and challenge you to grow and heal. I will center your strengths and expertise in your own life. Embedded within an anti-oppressive framework, my holistic approach to therapy draws from attachment theory, internal family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies, neuroscience and mindfulness.
