Hello, my name is Melissa and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I work with adolescents, and adults who are currently struggling with different issues in their lives. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. I believe that by providing a warm, judgement free environment my client’s find the ability to strengthen the skills they already have in order to make sense of different challenges in their lives. When working with my clients I believe what is most important is to meet them where they are. By working together we are able to discover the goal’s that are most important to the client, and that will make the biggest positive impact on their lives. I use Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, Solution Focused, and Strength based techniques in order to assist my client’s in achieving their goals in session.
