Therapist Overview

I help multicultural, queer/trans and LGBQI folks, and people with complex identities to heal from past traumas, learn healthy boundaries in relationship, manage chronic illness & pain, and stabilize mood swings. My clients come to therapy to manage anxiety, depression, and to access creativity and joy. I love working with clients to explore big life questions, find what it means to live authentically between cultures, languages, and to juggle multiple norms/expectations. With over 13 years of experience in mental health and healing, I use mindfulness, somatic therapy, and supportive feedback to help clients reach their goals. My approach is rooted in compassion, social justice and anti-oppression work. I work with teens and adults, write letters for HRT, support Type 1 Diabetics and their families, and help people navigate medical systems. I help white people to come into right relationship with who and where they come from, and move towards being actively anti-racist. I see therapy a
