I specialize in working with individuals, couples, & families who are experiencing relationship problems and issues related to anxiety, depression, adjustments, life changes, and grief/loss. I have a particular interest in premarital/couples therapy and have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (a research based approach to couples therapy). My aim with couples is to address feelings of frustration, resentment, hopelessness, and betrayal while improving communication, enhancing intimacy, and strengthening commitment. I also have training and experience providing Medical Family Therapy and work with individuals and their families who are dealing with acute/chronic illness. I strive to create a therapeutic space where warmth, encouragement, understanding, and laughter promote positive change.
