My name is Martha Harris-Luken and I am an independently licensed professional counselor. I have been working in the field of counseling since 1990. I have worked in counseling and social work in many capacities. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults. My areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, victims of abuse (including sexual, emotional and physical), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anger management, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and I have also worked extensively with addictions. I have worked in many settings in my career. I started my career working in an inpatient drug and alcohol facility for youth. I then worked in the juvenile Court setting as a casemanager and then a Guardian Ad Litem. I have worked at public mental health facility for several years and have been a school based therapist for the past eight years. I feel that due to my history in working with people that I have an excellent understanding of what I can do as a therapist to assist you in being successful in your life. Through my interactions with clients and my own personal life I feel that I have a lot to offer to assist you in becoming the happy and healthy person that we all strive to be.
