Mari Verano

Kennedy University. She has ten years of experience working primarily with adolescents and their families in communities of color. She will work with you to find realistic, individualized steps to healing when things feel hopeless and overwhelming. Mari’s expertise is in providing effective interventions grounded in an understanding of both human behavior and oppression (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, sizeism, ageism, ableism) and treating the children, adult children, and former partners of narcissists. She understands that the first step in healing is acknowledging how trauma and oppression affect clients. Mari has worked with youth in the criminal justice system, in residential treatment facilities for adolescents, and in schools with youth with special needs. Mari is directive, yet warm, and understands that the client is the expert on their experience.
