Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with clients to help identify and progress towards their individual goals. I earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults who have a history of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and actions, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, depression, and anxiety. Everyone is different. There are many ways to support working through difficult experiences, based on those differences. I utilize various interventions (based on the client’s preferences) such as traditional talk therapy, EMDR, play therapy, sand tray, art therapy, etc. I am certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and am completing certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have also received training in the use of Play Therapy and other expressive arts strategies.
