Thank you for your interest in my practice! I bring 35 years of experience helping people to heal and become fully engaged in their lives and relationships. I strive to create a safe space in which we can begin to address the aspects of yourself that you would like to grow or change. I will help you take what is overwhelming and build a capacity to better tolerate and express emotion in ways that create resilience, flexibility, and a sense of being grounded in your own body. I regularly work with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, have current or past trauma or abuse, and need help with parenting or relationship issues. I tailor my approach to each person’s needs. My therapeutic style is interactive and based on warmth and a deep respect for each person. I have trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman method for working with couples.
