Therapist Overview

Everyone chooses to enter therapy at a different point in one’s life. Whether in a moment of crisis or loss, time of transition, feeling “stuck” or, wanting to further explore one’s self. Regardless of your choice, I will use a relational approach to work together, using our therapeutic relationship to make positive change. In a warm, safe, compassionate space, I will use an eclectic mix of therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) where we will focus on the present, as well dynamic approaches where we will explore elements of your past that contribute to who you are today. I specialize in working with adults and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, low self esteem, issues related to sexuality, relationship issues, family conflict, life transitions, career confusion, and loss. After graduating from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2013, I have worked with a diverse group of individuals in settings that include Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical
