Therapist Overview
You’re struggling with difficult feelings in your relationship with a spouse, partner, your child, family members, friends or people at work. Or you may be trying to come to terms with painful feelings about things that happened in the past. When you’re hurting or feeling confused, you don’t know what to do. People in your life may not understand you or your experiences. You may want to develop greater self-awareness and hope to find a greater sense of choice and freedom in your life. It takes courage to sit with the layers of your experience. And it also takes time. Therapy allows for time to look inside and be present. I work from a contemporary psychodynamic/relational approach. I’m curious about your early experiences and relationships because they have a big impact your development as a person and are likely affecting your current experiences in ways that may be at least partly unconscious. I have extensive experience working with trauma and intergenerational dynamics. I’ll help you find clarity and a greater sense of freedom. You’ll find me warm, compassionate and non-judgmental in our work together. And finding someone you can feel comfortable with is so important. Give me a call for your free 15-minute phone consultation. Let’s see if this feels like a fit for someone you’d trust for the intimate dialogue of therapy.
