Life is hard! Unrealistic expectations can cause you to feel that you’re not good enough. Low self-worth can lead to disconnection from others, ourselves, and increase chaos in relationships. Emotional wounds can lead to coping through impulsive or harmful behaviors. We don’t do these behaviors intentionally, it’s our attempt to get relief from our emotional pain. My approach to therapy is CBT and DBT informed. This means that together we will work to identify and challenge negative core beliefs that keep you stuck. We will work toward creating a life where you can feel your emotions without being completely overpowered by them. Whether it’s increasing the ability to tolerate negative emotions, stopping harmful behaviors that are interfering in your life, or finding ways to help your relationships flourish, there is hope.
