When I show up with a client, I bring empathy, wholeheartedness, and a commitment to build a safe and trusting relationship. What I love most about my work is helping folks feel in order to heal. My goal for my clients is to help them live a life of value and to feel they have the tools and skills they need to “live a life worth living,” as DBT founder Marsha Linahan says. I want my clients to know their worth, their value, and that they’re brave, so they can live lives full of love, belonging, and acceptance. I want to give them the skills to explore, the heals to heal, and the confidence to be. Because each client shares a unique story with unique challenges, I make sure to cater each treatment modality to the client’s specific needs.
