Counseling is a collaborative process that is built on the foundation of the client-counselor relationship, which is something that I work hard to build from the first session. I also work to ensure the process is both client-centered and strengths-based in order to support each individual as they work to reach their desired goals by utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness and psychoeducation.
