My ideal client may or may not have an idea where his or her distress is coming from but IS motivated to make changes to alleviate that distress. Together, we will develop strategies tailored to you to help you cope with current and/or past stressors so that you may lead a more peaceful, content life. My goal with all my clients is to help them feel like the best version of themselves. I work extensively with people with eating disorders, negative body image, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance/alcohol abuse, low self-esteem, and self-harming behaviors. I also work with couples and families who are impacted by the aforementioned challenges. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic climate. I will not push my agenda on you, but rather collaborate with you to help you achieve your goals. Ultimately, it is my hope that you leave therapy feeling more grounded and accepting of yourself.
