Welcome! My practice is open during early EVENING hours to accommodate all schedules. I have been fortunate to have 16 years of counseling experience in both the school setting and the private sector. I have had the pleasure of working with clients ranging in ages 4-18, adults, and with families. While working with children and adolescents, I believe that the family dynamic is an extremely important part of the therapeutic process, and will often involve parents and siblings in therapy when it is helpful. One of my specialties is working with parents to help with parenting struggles– from the very young ages to teen years. I use a variety of techniques in counseling my clients, and the type of therapy will depend on the age and needs of the client. The types of approaches may vary from Play Therapy for young clients, to CBT alongside DBT techniques for adolescent and adult clients.
